Privacy notice

This notice explains how I collect and use personal data through scarlettlu.com, in line with Hong Kong’s Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.

What I collect

Your name and email, and what you tell me in the request form: career stage, practice area, type of employer, where you work or study, and your goals.

Why

To reply to you, check for conflicts of interest, arrange and provide mentoring, and keep a record of any agreement we make.

What’s required

I need the required fields to reply and to check for conflicts. Without them I can’t take your request forward.

Who sees it

Me, and someone who helps me manage requests. Render (hosting) and Brevo (email delivery) process it on my behalf and may store it outside Hong Kong. I don’t sell your data or use it for marketing.

How long I keep it

If we don’t work together, I delete your details within 12 months. If we do, I keep them for as long as the mentoring and any legal obligations require.

Your rights

You can ask to see or correct your personal data at any time. Write to Scarlett Lu at hello@scarlettlu.com.
